    The quality of Capra Meats begins with genetics. We have created a diverse genetic pool so that we can breed, assess and refine our product every step of the way. Breeding programs, including embryo transfer, help us scale our genetic focus to produce the best possible product for our customers.

  • Environment

    At Capra Meats, we have created a habitat where our goats can thrive. Goats love a diverse diet, especially browsing for foods at height. We have created a mix of grazing and browsing food types, complimented by premium lucerne and lupins tailored to our program.

  • Handling & Selection

    We use leading animal handling equipment and technology to refine and select a consistent, premium Capra product for our customers. Capra goats are individually weighed, selected and drafted using leading Te Pari & Tru Test technology.
